Matuse makes the best wetsuits on the market by far. Best fit, warmest, lightest, drys quick, and most importantly they hold up. Oh and the crew running the show couldn’t be a better bunch, they take care of their customers. Keep up the great work fellas, I’m gonna keep needing your suits in the future!

Great suit and fit XLT 4/3 hooded Tumo
Best surf suit I’ve owned. I was worried about fit but the XLT worked great for 6’4 200lbs.
High quality construction and the material seems durable. I like how it doesn’t absorb much water and get all loose and sloppy.

4/3 Tumo Large
I like it. Very comfy and thin for a 4/3. Fits well, is warm, and super flexible. The wind cuts through a bit, given its lightness. If you’re moving it’s great, but not a suit to sit around I . Also the zipper zone is a little rigid and is creating a rash on the shoulder/armpit. Looking forward to breaking it in a bit. Overall pretty good.

Fantastic, Warm, Well Made Suite
I debated between the Scipio Hooded 3mm and this Tumo Hooded 4/3. Both are fantastic well made suits. I tried both on and for me, the Tumo felt like it had a bit more flexibility through the shoulders that was just more comfortable. I think it’s also ultimately a warmer suit unless you plan to be moving all the time in the Scipio. Having had a lot of Matuses in the past, what’s noticeable is a lot of smart design updates, Starting with the neck gasket that goes on before the hood. Much better design with less side leaking which was the case with past chest zips I had. Additionally, the quality of the zipper and taping throughout the suit is great. The water in LA has been particularly cold this winter and since I got this suit it’s not even an issue.
