The Tumo is named after the Buddhist meditation Technique where naked Monks sit in the snow, underneath a wet blanket, and dry-it-out with their own body heat. So jump into the coldest environments. The Tumo hooded wetsuit has you covered even if you don't meditate.

Used suit ~ 8x so far, ranging from sup open ocean cruise, 8'0 novelty runners, to an overhead shortboard session with water temps ~ 52 degrees with air ranging from low 50's to 5 degrees with wind chill. Thus far, beyond warm, very impressed with the suit. The real test will be once water & air temps dive bomb but so far so good. I went 4 stars only to see how that neck flap holds up. Thank you - J
This is my 5th Matuse. Warm, light weight, durable, fast drying, flexible. I’m 5’10” 165# with large shoulders and wear an XL. Sizing over the years has always ran small. It would help if Matuse would put the models, height weight, and size he or she is wearing.
Compared to other brands I would definitely say the Tumo stands out in flexibility, warmth & comfort. Daily workhorse for winter in NorCal. This suit offers very little shoulder resistance, which is amazing and translates to more time on the water.
Like others have said these suits are super long lasting and I owned my last one for 4 years and it's just starting to leak a little. I'd wear this on most trips to Ireland, Scotland and the NE U.K and the odd mid winter morning in the SW. However, I did really like the Black Zero that I had on my old 5/4 that for some reason don't come on the new ones. I hope to see the black zero on these in the future as it does give them that added extra toast factor.
